Our purpose is to expose the wonderful world of Track & Field and Cross Country to our youth along with furthering the skills of current athletes to help them meet their goals.  We support all Athletes that want to train with a group to get prepped and ready for their sport. We specialize in Speed, Jumps, Hurdles, Throws, Strength, and Endurance.

We start with basic drills, introduce all aspects of Cross Country to our youngest Eagles.  As they develop and gain fitness we work building strength, endurance, and speed. XC Meets are optional throughout the season. All details for Fall will be posted in June.  



 Eagle Track Club Coaches

Director & Coach Stacy Brunell Cross Country/Mid-Long Distance

Coach Brunell started running & competing in at age 10. Coach Brunell continued on with Track & Cross Country through High School winning 3 State XC Team Titles. She walked onto the University of Washington Team and lettered in both Cross Country and Track as well as earning the most Inspirational Athlete her senior year. Stacy has coached in Washington, California and Florida. She has coached athletes from ages 10-18 for the last 8 years both in Track & Cross Country.


Coach Hepburn Hurdles/Sprints/Speed

 Sylvanues Hepburn represented Freeport, Grand Bahamas as a sprinter in the 1996 & 2000 Olympic Games.  He also participated in the World Circuit as a track athlete from 1992 - 2002 and was a team member in the World Outdoor Championships from 1991 - 2001. After his participation in the Olympics, he started a career as a coach.  He trained several professional athletes and Olympic finalists/medalists such as Richard Seymour, Sidney Rice, Christopher Owens and Allen Johnson to name a few. He has worked with many high school and college athletes teaching them techniques for increased speed, agility and strength. Hepburn is certified by the International Sports Science Academy in Personal Training and Strength Training and Conditioning. He is certified by the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education as a USATF level 1 coach. Hepburn earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from St. Paul's College in Lawrenceville, VA.

Coach Glasser- Pole Vault 

Daisy is an ESJ '07 Grad.  She is a 3X Florida State Champion Pole Vaulter. Coach Glasser went onto University of Florida earning All American and Academic Honors. She was named All-SEC and recipient of the UF Athletic Association Character Award.  She coached her brother to a FHSAA State Title.  Coach Glasser earned her BS from UF in Horticulture and an MS in Meteorology as a graduate research assistant.  She is currently a MS science teacher and loves coaching track and field.  


Coach Hunt- Sprints

Coach Hunt is a Jacksonville Native. After a very successful Track & Football HS career he committed to FSU. Coach played football and ran track for the Seminoles. Then went on to play in the NFL.  Once retired Coach Hunt began his coaching career.  He is a certified personal trainer and has coach Football & Track at ESJ for last 39 years.  He has had 51 Individual State Champions, 1 Team State Championship 3 State Team runner up placements  & has coached 39 of 40 Episcopal's Track & Field School Records.


Coach Cherry -Jumps

Coach Cherry attended Liberty University on an athletic scholarship where he  play football and graduated with a B.S. degree in Communications. His major was Journalism, with a minor in Physiology. He has spent over 16 years working with youth via coaching and classroom instruction. He began his teaching and coaching career at North Florida Christian (NFC) in Tallahassee for several years. During his tenure at NFC, they won 2 Florida State Championship in football as well as 12 State Championships in Track and Field.  Coach Cherry specializes in all jumps & sprints.  Coach is the new Physical Education teacher for ELP II through sixth grade at St. Mark’s School. Coach Cherry has a passion to guide young children into successful independent learners and leaders.
